Berean Family Church 2019 Conference

Is There Meaning In Suffering?

When

February 22, 2019 - February 23, 2019

Where

St Mark's United Methodist Church

10513 E Admiral Pl, Tulsa, OK 74116, USA

Details

The Apostle Paul said that all who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (II Timothy 3:12). But exactly what does that mean? The Apostle Peter stated that believers in Christ are actually called to suffer (I Peter 3:21). And again, Paul wrote to the church that if we do indeed suffer for the name of Christ, we shall also reign with Him (II Timothy 2:12).

Much has been written over the centuries concerning the topic of suffering. Some affirm it is a way to gain favor with God. Others teach that God is never honored in the suffering of His children and that suffering in a Christian’s life is evidence that they are in sin.

Come join us as we learn together what the Word of God has to say about suffering, trials, and persecution.

A Chick-fil-A lunch and a pizza dinner will be provided FREE of charge on Saturday. Please register by February 18 so that we can ensure we have plenty of food and sufficient seating. While the event is free of charge, we will have a love offering to go toward expenses.
